Join the GW Resiliency and Well-being Center and the DC Health Primary Care Office at 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday, September 23rd, for a webinar on "Organizational Opportunities for Improving Workforce Wellness and Preventing Burnout." The talk will be given by  Lorenzo Norris, MD, R&WC medical director and chief wellness officer for the GW medical enterprise, and Leigh Frame, PhD, MHS, R&WC associate director and research director.

In October 2022, DC Health published a Request for Stakeholder Input on successful models, innovations, and/or approaches for improving organizational structures and process impacting workforce health, wellness, and burnout. In the recently published report summarizing the findings from these efforts, Supporting the District’s Primary Care Workforce: Summary of Stakeholder-Identified Drivers, Promising Practices, and Recommendations for Promoting Wellness and Preventing Burnout, DC Health highlighted several promising practices and local organizations doing important and innovative work to support the healthcare workforce. Drs. Norris and Frame were subject matter experts on this project.
